Meridian, Texas is a beautiful window to the top of the Hill Country, nestled on the banks of the North Bosque River. The historic downtown building, and expanding Parks area, and the rolling hills of Bosque County personify this town as the county seat and center of the government.

Each year the community hosts several exciting events. With the new amphitheater, folks can now expect even more to see and do. The annual BBQ cook-off draws thousands from around the country and this year even more reasons to visit have been added. Look out for the first annual Chili Cook-Off, movie nights, live music, and even a new disc golf course on the way to completion.
