Expanding the parks, enriching lives

Meridian Parks and Recreation oversees the development of land and municipal parks in the city. Land granted by the city previously includes the site for the John A. Lomax Amphitheater, Meridian Park, Lions Park and areas around Bosque Bottoms.  

Parks & Recreation calls upon volunteers, generous donors, and the community to support its programs and help develop the city with natural beauty.
